The Supreme Court has given a historic verdict in the country's oldest case on 09 November 2019. The court has given the right to disputed land to the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas in this decision. The Supreme Court has ordered land to be given to the Muslim side ie Sunni Waqf Board in Ayodhya itself.
The Supreme Court has said in its decision that the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas have the right to the disputed land. The court also said that five acres of land in Ayodhya will be given to the Muslim side somewhere else. The Supreme Court in its decision has asked the central government to set up a trust for the temple within three months. This trust will build the Ram temple.
Supreme Court Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi started reading the verdict on Ayodhya dispute on 09 November 2019 at 10:30 am. The Supreme Court has said in its decision that the Muslim side should be given alternative land. That is, the Supreme Court has ordered land to be given to Muslims elsewhere. The Supreme Court said in the judgment that the Muslim side has failed to prove the claim on the land.
The Supreme Court, in its decision based on the ASI report, said that there is no concrete information about breaking the temple and building a mosque. The Chief Justice has first dismissed the petition of the Shia Waqf Board. After this, the Chief Justice has also rejected the claim of Nirmohi Akhara. This hearing then lasted for 68 days.
